NEMA Chicago was one of the dozen largest Midwestern projects to break ground in 2018, according to ENR. This collection of 800 luxury apartments ranging in size from studios to four bedrooms in the South Loop Chicago neighborhood will be the tallest residential tower in the city at 896 feet tall. It features a silhouette inspired by the iconic Willis Tower as well as interiors by Rockwell Group that reflect the city’s gridded layout. Developed by Crescent Heights, with architecture by Rafael Viñoly, NEMA Chicago is part of the award-winning NEMA brand, which launched in San Francisco in 2013 and will open its third location in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood later this year.
