Curbed recently toured NEMA Chicago to find out if the supertall collection of luxury rentals in South Loop lives up to its already-lofty reputation. From its familiar Windy City silhouette to the contextual design elements and pieces by local artists found throughout its interior, the tower lives up to its tagline, “Made in Chicago.” Throughout the building, residents will find bespoke amenities like the full-size boxing ring and the golf simulator, as well as Chicago-centric spaces like the lap pool with a skyline view and the terrace with a prime view of the lake. The homes themselves are clad in high-end finishes, including wide-plank hardwood floors and Caesarstone countertops, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on Lake Michigan, the South Loop, and the urban arteries reaching out to the prairie.
